Club House

Rules:

1. Rentals are subject to approval
2. Access fees charged for any event
3. Contract rules/ signature/cleaning-damage deposit required
4. The club house is free use to residents for funerals.

Includes 3 different rooms that can be used for parties, book club meetings, lectures, dances, or other events.

8000 Block of Terrace Ridge Dr

Victim left $1200 cash in a dresser drawer. A friend of the victim spent the night in the residence and knew about the money. The friend returned home and the victim later left his residence. Upon returning home, the victim discovered the rear sliding glass door was closed but unlocked. The friend then called him and advised the victim he was going to go gambling. The victim found this odd since his friend never has any money. The victim then got worried and checked for the money, which he discovered to be missing. The victim attempted to contact the suspect by text and the friend never denied taking the money and staging a burglary, but wanted to speak with the victim. Victim in turn reported the theft to the Police. Detectives were able to contact suspect who was later arrested for Burglary and Grand Theft

Ridgedale road will be closed from Mission hills to Redwood Ave from 9:00am to 4:00pm starting on May 21st through May 23rd 2012. Detour signs will be installed. The road closure is for sanitary sewer maintenance.

Unk. suspects entered residence through an unlocked kitchen window and took a Microsoft X-box 360 video game, a Nintendo Wii video game, a HP laptop computer, a Dell Net notebook, video games and three backpacks. One of the backpacks was recovered from a home located on Caladesi Island Drive. The suspects in this offense are likely local in the Orange River Estates area. Please see news release attachment. To say the least, I am very proud of our community. Even with a “bad” economy and some dubious areas surrounding Temple Terrace, we were able to reduce crime in the City of Temple Terrace. Here are the numbers for the major crimes compared with the same crimes in the State of Florida.

Temple Terrace State of Florida

Robbery- 50% decrease 1.8% decrease

Burglary- 17.7% decrease .7% increase

Larceny- 10.7% decrease .7% increase

Auto Theft- 19.4% increase -4.4% decrease

All major crimes- 14.7% decrease .1% decrease

Our Crime Watches played a significant and vital role in these numbers. Please continue to work hard and continue to get to know your neighbors, have crime watch meetings and report suspicious behavior and activity. Our goal is to exceed see further reductions of crime in 2012.

As a reminder, we are going to be @ TT City Hall on Sat. April 28^th from 10am-2pm accepting old prescription and non-prescription pills. This is a good time to clean out those medicine cabinets and safely dispose of medications without harming the environment.

I have also placed an attachment pertaining to Identity Fraud. Right now, this is the fastest growing crime in the Temple Terrace area and throughout Florida. We have had approx. 60 Temple Terrace residents become victim’s of ID theft this year and the bad guys filed their IRS returns (commonly known as the “Turbo Tax” crime) prior to the resident filing. Please remember do not share your social security number with anyone who does not need it. Doctors and hospitals regularly ask for your social security numbers. They do not need the number unless you are on Medicare or Medicaid (which of course use your social security number as your ID#). Once you share this information, anyone in the doctor’s office or hospital has access to your social security number and many employees of these businesses are stealing the information and selling it. Protect your social security number to avoid large headaches later……….Please take the time to review the brochure I have attached.
